Missed Call Text Back in GoHighLevel (Clean Setup)
If you miss a call, you lose the lead. This is the simplest workflow structure that works without creating duplicates.
What you’ll build
- • Trigger: missed inbound call
- • Condition: contact is new / no recent appointment
- • Action: SMS + optional email
- • Optional: create task + move pipeline stage
Workflow steps (recommended)
- Trigger: Call Status = Missed (or “Inbound call missed” depending on your setup).
- Wait: 1–2 minutes (prevents false triggers if agent calls back immediately).
- If/Else: If appointment booked in last X minutes → stop. If not → continue.
- SMS: “Hey {{contact.first_name}}, saw your call. Want to book a quick slot?” + your booking link.
- Create task: “Call back missed lead” assigned to staff.
- Pipeline update: Move to stage “Missed Call” (only if not already there).
